2011 Private Parties and Tours

We are now open Monday through Thursday noon-5 pm, Fridays noon-10 pm, Saturdays noon-10 pm, and Sundays noon-7 pm.  Private parties or tours can be scheduled during these times, plus Saturday morning and Sunday evening.  Have a leisurely day enjoying hayrides, hiking, and pumpkin picking.  Enjoy a J B hot dog roast and other light refreshments in our picnic area.  Find the correct path through the trails in the corn maze and complete the game card.  We have a great selection of all sizes of pumpkins.  Also, we have a new line of gifts and crafts, plus hard-shell gourds, lovely broom corn, cornstalks, Indian corn, and popcorn.  The children can visit with our friendly little animals and enjoy our free play area, which includes a double hay pyramid with tunnels, hay maze, antler ring toss, and more.

To schedule a private party, call for available dates and times.  In case of rain, we have one wagon with a canopy, plus a great barn complete with decorations for your cookout.  Parties are becoming more popular yearly.  To hold your group's time, we require a 25% deposit payable at the time you reserve your party time.  This can be mailed to: J B Tree Farm, 7880 Barker Road, Alexandria, PA, 16611, or charged on any major credit card.

Basic tours take around an hour and include:

?         A visit with the little animals, Nigerian Dwarf goats and Miniature Donkeys.

?         An old fashioned hayride through our fields for your group of 15 or more, up to 20-25 per wagon.

?         Harvest Playground, an unusual and creative area for the young and young at heart.

?         Each participant may chose their own small pumpkin or ornamental gourd to take home. - $5.00 adult, $3.50 ages 3-8

2011 Corn Maze alone; regular admission price is $6.50, and $4.00 for children ages 4 to 9.  If your group wants individual pumpkins/gourds add $1.  Part of the maze entrance fees will support the those in need, both in the United States and in the world.

Basic Tour plus Cookout:  We provide hot dogs to roast, (or hot and ready to eat, your choice), with condiments, beverages for your group (choose from: cider, hot chocolate, coffee to go with water) an apple, snacks (choose pretzels/chips bags or cook popcorn over the with our popcorn popper) and marshmallows to roast.  If you want to make s'mores, we also have graham crackers and chocolate bars available.  Just let us know in advance.  The cook out lunch along with basic tour is $10.00, ages 4-9 (one hot dog) - $7.50 per child.  Your tour and cook out may last up to two hours.

Maze Tour:  Basic tour plus a trip through the six acre maze.  Allow 45 minutes to an hour for the maze. - $10.00, $7.00 ages 4-9

Maze Tour plus Cookout:  includes basic tour, maze, and hot dog roast, $14.50, ages 4-9 (one hot dog) - $10.50 per child.  Your tour and cookout may last up to three hours.

Bring your own food and use the tables, $10 each, or a table with a campfire for $15.

DISCOUNTS FOR CHURCH GROUPS:  15 or more participants purchasing the maze and hayride combination receive a 20% discount.  Sorry, we cannot offer a discount on food.

Note: All tours require a minimum of 15 participants, or payment equal to that number.

IMPORTANT: We must have your final count of participants a minimum of 48 hours before your party.  We will try to have your tickets and invoice ready for you.  One contact person for your group should come into the shop for instructions and payment.  Do not stand through the line.  Go to the side of the counter to the left and ask for Evelyn Bookhammer.  Please pay by single check or credit card when you arrive, at least 20 minutes before your start time.  A receipt and tickets will be issued to you.   If you have extra tickets, they can be used any time during the 2011 season.
