2007 Private Parties and Tours

Your group will have a truly unique experience at JB Tree Farm, enjoying a leisurely day of hayrides, hiking, and pumpkin picking.  Add to the fun with a hot dog roast and other light refreshments in our picnic area, then find the correct path through the trails in our 5-acre corn maze and complete the game card.  We have a great selection of all sizes of pumpkins, as well as a new line of gifts and crafts and our own hard-shell gourds, cornstalks, Indian corn, and popcorn.  The children will love visiting our friendly reindeer and playing in our free Harvest Play Area, which includes a double hay pyramid with tunnels, hay maze, antler ring toss and more!  In case of rain, we have one wagon with a canopy, plus a great new barn complete with decorations for your cookout.  

Our Basic Tour takes about an hour and includes:

Each participant may choose their own small pumpkin or ornamental gourd to take home 

Basic Tour price is $5.00 per person, or $3.50 per child ages 3-8.

Basic Tour plus Cookout:  Includes everything in the Basic Tour, plus two hot dogs to roast, cider, hot chocolate, an apple, pretzels or chips, and marshmallows to roast, all for just $8.50 per person, or $6.50 per child ages 3-8, with one hot dog! (Condiments are included.  Hot dogs can also be provided hot & ready to eat for those not wishing to roast them over a fire.)  Your tour and cookout may last up to two hours.

Reindeer Relay Maze Tour:  The Basic Tour, plus a trip through the five-acre corn maze.  Allow 45 minutes to an hour for the maze.  $9.00 per person, or $6.00 for children ages 3-8.

Reindeer Relay Maze Tour plus Cookout:  Includes Basic Tour, corn maze & hot dog roast - $12.50 per person, or $9.00 per child ages 3-8, with one hot dog.  Your tour and cookout may last up to three hours.

Hours:  We are open weekends starting September 21:  Fridays, 4-10pm, Saturdays, noon to 10pm, and Sundays 2-7pm.  Private parties and tours can be scheduled during these times, plus Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings.  To schedule a private party, please call for available dates and times.  To hold your group's time, we require a 25% deposit payable at the time you make your reservation.  This can be mailed to JB Tree Farm, 7880 Barker Road, Alexandria, PA, 16611, or charged on any major credit card.

IMPORTANT: We must have your final count of participants, minimum 15, at least  48 hours before your party.  We will have your tickets and invoice ready for you.  One contact person for your group should  come into the shop for instructions and payment.  Please  pay by single check or credit card when you arrive, at least 20 minutes before your start time.  A receipt and tickets will be issued to you.   If you have extra tickets, they can be used any time during the 2007 season.
